About Me

Alleviate TMC is the private practice of
John Psaradakis MTI, CNHC.

John worked as an IT Manager in both the public and private sectors for over 15 years, so has first hand experience in understanding the stresses and pressures of office life. It was John’s personal experience with a chronic neck pain condition that brought him into contact with complementary therapies and in particular, massage.

“It took a few attempts, but eventually I was lucky enough to find the right therapist. Someone who not only helped with the physical problems, but who also understood the psychological effects of dealing with a chronic condition and who through education taught me to recognise my own stress patterns and how to take better care of myself. It’s this experience I aim to share with my Clients. John”

With over 10 years experience, 8000 treatment hours and over 3000 clients, John is a highly motivated and professional massage therapist with a mature, quietly confident and reassuring manner. Many of his regular clients simply want to experience an enjoyable, calming, therapeutic massage from which they come away feeling restored, but John also has a particular interest in clinical massage, and has experience in treating men and women with diagnosed conditions including Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia, Scoliosis and Chronic Back Pain. Whatever the client’s main goal in booking an appointment with John, he is committed to providing the highest standards in massage whilst educating and supporting clients with sensible and achievable personal care advice. John practices a western style of massage and pursues a program of continual personal development. He is trained to the gold standard in Holistic Massage by the Massage Training Institute, and has undertaken further advanced training in Medical Acupuncture, Osteopathic Joint Articulation and Manipulative Therapy and is fully insured.

John is registered with the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council, the only register of professional practitioners recommended by the Department of Health and has practiced in the Charity sector working with the elderly.

John is currently working as part of a multidisciplinary team of specialists to support Julz Adeniran, Great Britain & England 110m Hurdles, in preparation for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.

As well as managing his private practice, John is also a course leader and tutor at Bodyology School of Massage, passing on his wealth of experience to the next generation of massage therapists.
